Water treatment

An integral part of any water-treatment system is the water storage tanks. Modular tanks are ideally suited to water-treatment systems, because they are resistant to the aggressive substances used in these processes while at the same time being suitable for drinking water.

Modular tanks are also used for aggressive wastewater. Using them as cesspits is, of course, an expensive option. But where domestic wastewater is to undergo further processing (for example, for biogas plants), using modular tanks makes sense. In addition, industrial wastewater can be discharged into modular tanks.

Areas of use:

• Water treatment for populated areas, industrial enterprises and public buildings;
• Overflow tanks for swimming pools;
• Collection and disposal of domestic wastewater;
• Collection of industrial wastewater;
• Primary settling tanks and equalization tanks in domestic wastewater treatment.

Advantages:

• The technical properties of the membrane allow storage of both drinking water and aggressive wastewater.
• Installing the tanks requires only minimal general construction work.
• Water-treatment tanks can be installed in hard-to-reach places such as basements.
• No lifting equipment is needed to assemble the tanks.
• Tanks for drinking water and wastewater can be installed underground.
